The leather feels thick and actually broken-in right out of the box, not stiff like some coats I've tried. Wore it through a windy 40-degree evening with just a tee underneath and stayed warm.

The leather is surprisingly soft for a coat this sturdy, and the zipper glides like butter. Already wore it through a drizzle and it held up perfectly—those two pockets are exactly where I need them.

Wore this straight out of the box to dinner and got two compliments before the appetizers arrived. The two pockets sit at a useful angle, and the zipper glides without catching on the fabric lining. Size 52 fit me true.
