The Italian leather creased nicely after a few wears instead of cracking, and the mid-height cut works with both jeans and dress pants. Took about a week to break in around the ankle, but now they feel molded to my feet.

Wore these through a full day of errands and an evening dinner, and my feet never once complained. The suede is soft right out of the box, no break-in period at all.

The Italian leather on these has held up beautifully after a few weeks of wear, and the mid-height sole gives them a solid feel without being clunky. They look just as good with jeans as they do with chinos for a dinner out.
