The water-resistant leather is a nice touch for unpredictable weather, and the lug sole gives them just enough grip for city walking. They're surprisingly comfortable right out of the box for such a chunky boot.

The buckled straps down the shaft are what sold me, and they look even sharper in person. The leather feels tough but not stiff, and the lug sole gives me solid grip on wet pavement. I've worn them three days straight without any discomfort.

I was nervous the water-resistant leather would feel stiff, but it’s actually surprisingly soft and comfortable right out of the box. The lug sole gives me great traction on slick sidewalks, which I really needed this winter.
